Key Highlights from the Visit of the Gujarat CM to Dholera SIR
Ongoing Infrastructure Development: CEO of Dholera SIR and Managing Director of Dholera Industrial City Development Limited, Dr. Kuldeep Arya, delivered a comprehensive presentation to the Chief Minister, Chief Secretary, and senior secretaries. That presentation describes the Dholera infrastructure development.
This important site visit highlights many aspects of infrastructure that need to be considered. First of all, a report indicates that 95% of the work on the Ahmedabad-Dholera expressway is near completion. Kuldeep Arya represent updates on necessary facilities such as a sewage and water treatment plant, a common effluent treatment plan, and also a 300 MW solar park have been settled in Dholera.
It also has a large 72-kilometer domestic road network and underground service corridors, providing for more effective urban design and growth.

Shri Bhupendra Patel, the Chief Minister of Gujarat, also followed up on the status of the Tata Electronics semiconductor plant currently under construction in Dholera “Semicon” city. During this review visit for Dholera, the CM met with Tata officials to evaluate the plant’s construction progress and inspect the facilities.
CM also visits the Dholera International Airport to evaluate the progress of development of the cargo terminal and runway building, which is being developed at an estimated cost of Rs. 1,350 crore. Shri Bhupendra Patel’s visit gave significant insight and support to the officials and staff of the Dholera authority. The Chief Minister went along by several senior officials during the visit, including Chief Secretary Shri Pankaj Joshi and Shri M.K. Das, Principal Advisor Dr. Hasmukh Adhia, Shri S. S. Rathore, Principal Secretary to the Industries and Mines Department Smt. Mamta Verma, Science and Technology Department Principal Secretary Smt. Mona Khandhar, and Secretary of CM Smt. Avantika Singh, along with the Ahmedabad collector, district development officer, and other senior officers.
